Ed Brady has been a partner of the Firm since 1977 when
he joined founding partner Ben Komisar. While Ed has a
very diverse background providing auditing, accounting, tax, and
management consulting services, he currently focuses on the
Auditing and General Business Practice Groups.
Ed represents business clients involved in many industries ranging from small start-ups to multi-location manufacturers and distributors. In his 33 years at Komisar Brady, he has served hundreds of businesses, individuals, and trusts, many of them for his entire time with the firm, including several multi-generational family businesses that will remain with the Firm for years to come.
Ed is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and has provided expert valuation services for Companies in a variety of industries to support estate planning and settlement, charitable giving, business sales, and many other purposes.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Ed is a nineteen-year veteran of the MS Society's MS-150 Best Dam Bike Tour and has raised more than $50,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Wisconsin Chapter, riding his bicycle 150 miles each August through the scenic Kettle Moraine with the Kamikaze Beancounters . Ed has committed to one more year in 2010 to reach the 3,000 mile milestone.
Ed serves as treasurer for the Center for Deaf Blind Persons, Inc. in Milwaukee, a charitable organization dedicated to providing services needed to minimize the devastating effects of combined vision and hearing loss.
Ed also is on the board of Alexian Village of Milwaukee, a continuing care retirement community on the north side of Milwaukee.
PERSONAL
Ed and his wife Helen have seven children who are now out of their home in Dousman, and welcomed their first granddaughter last year. The Bradys like to travel both with and without the children. Ed enjoys Marquette University basketball and a regular round of golf. He has been a Junior Achievement volunteer and basketball coach for his children.
