Mike Burzynski believes in the power of the entrepreneur. “I
strive to support Milwaukee through helping business owners, community groups and fellow Milwaukeeans improve our city.”
His business philosophy is that “our success is measured by the success of those we serve.”
Mike provides high level accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse group of closely-held businesses, including real estate, professional services, retail, manufacturing, design/build, and technology. Because of his specialization of working with small businesses, Mike provides a very broad range of services customized to the individual needs of each business and its owners. This includes part-time chief financial officer services to several businesses.
Because Mike has close contact with many business owners and other professional advisors, he has also developed specialty services to accommodate non-traditional needs. As a long-term trusted and highly-regarded professional advisor, Mike provides an informed and independent perspective in situations where misinformation can be extremely costly. This includes business succession planning, collaborative and traditional divorce calculations and guidance, business litigation support for damage determination and forensic accounting analysis, employee recruiting, human resources, and employee benefit coordination.

As an extension of Mike’s involvement in UPAF, he is a member of the Special Events Committee for the Next Act Theatre, where he and his wife have been season subscribers for more than ten years.
Mike is also on the Board of the St. Coletta Day School in Milwaukee, a nonprofit educational program serving students ages 8-16 with cognitive disabilities. St. Coletta’s program teaches respect for all individuals and provides integrated learning experiences to develop its students to have adult social skills and be independent members of and contributors to society.
Mike serves as the Treasurer for Hillside Health Care International, a United States-based charity that fully funds a clinic for the medically underserved in Belize, Central America and provides education programs for students from stateside medical colleges and physician assistant and nursing programs.
